We are accustomed to witnessing Indo-Pak rivalry in cricket but Street Dancer took this rivalry to an extreme level with the ultimate dance face-off between the respective teams from the two nations.

Sahej enacted by Varun Dhawan pursues the dream to win the Ground Zero which is going to be held in London. He along with his brother and other team members belong to a dance group called Street Dancer. When they come to know that their arch-rivals the Pakistani dance group led by Inayat played by Shraddha Kapoor is also participating in the competition they take this as a challenge to beat them.
Anna (Prabhu Deva) runs a bar in London and is almost like a godfather to the members of both the groups.
