“Sher hoon main Sher…aur Sher tab Tak raja Hota hai..jab Tak akela Rehta hai.” Saif Ali Khan’s character truly abides by this dialogue of his in the film.
The protagonist of Jawaani Jaaneman, Jaswinder Singh aka Jazz is a property broker by profession. He believes in living the life in himself, in the day he is just like a normal man, but as the nightlife, kicks in he turns into a brute party animal. Drinking, flirting and hooking up with random ladies is his routine.
His life was going great until one day a girl comes to him and claims that she is his biological daughter. Tia says that she is the daughter of one of his college girlfriends. He was barely recovering from this shock and a new intel leaves him down all on fours.
They both come to know that Tia is pregnant. So now the scene is, Jazz has discovered that he has a daughter, some 20 years old that too pregnant. The father-daughter duo has to tackle the challenges of life that are supposed to come their way.
Jawaani Jaaneman will make you happy when you watch it. Loads of punches and satire are waiting for you. Though the direction by Nitin Kakkar was dismal and could have been a lot better, Saif’s performance was the bright aspect of the film. He perfectly owns the role of a 40+ man living a jolly life all by himself. Aaliya makes her acting debut with the film and it was a lukewarm experience for her with the film not doing so well.
Jawaani Jaaneman songs are doing fairly well, especially the remake version of ‘Ole Ole’.
But in the nutshell, the film is highly entertaining and that is what matters in the end.
