Dream for Winning Gold Medal
Dangal is a story of real-life wrestlers Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat. In Dangal, Aamir Khan has played the role of an ex-wrestler Mahavir Phogat, the father of Indian women wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. In the story, Mahavir Singh Phogat (Father of Geeta and Babita), a former amateur wrestler who was trained Pehlwan, and was a national wrestling champion residing in Balali.
Mahavir’s Disappointment
Unfortunately, he failed to win a medal for his country, he vows that his unborn son will. But he gets 4 daughters so he lost all hopes that in the future his son will win a gold medal in wrestling. Then there is a scene in the movie when his older daughters Geeta and Babita come home after beating up two boys because the boys were misbehaving with them, he realizes their potential to become wrestlers and begins coaching them.
Training to Become Wrestler
He was so harsh to his daughters in terms of training, including grueling early morning workouts and short haircuts. The villagers are not at all linking the fact that being girls Geeta and Babita begins practicing wrestling, despite this fact Mahavir Phogat goes ahead with providing training to his daughters, training them in his makeshift mud pit. The daughters are not liking the strictness of their father but after some time they realize
that their father cares for their future. After knowing this fact they willingly participate in
wrestling tournaments where they defeat boys.
Geeta Loses Match at International Level
Then after being trained, Geeta starts her training at National Sports Academy in Patiala for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games. Once there, Geeta makes friends and begins to disregard the discipline she has been taught by Mahavir. She gets totally different environment there.
As a result, she loses every match at the international level. Soon after, Babita wins the national championship and joins Geeta at the academy. Babita provides her encouragement, then Geeta tearfully makes peace with Mahavir as her relationship with him was somehow spoiled due to her actions. Then Mahavir goes to Patiala with his nephew Omkar (Aparshakti Khurana) and begins coaching the girls secretly as they are losing all the International matches.
The Final Fight for Gold Medal
At the Games, competing in the 55 kg class, Mahavir constantly providing instructions to her while sitting in the audience, which she follows. Just before the gold medal bout, jealous Pramod conspires to lock Mahavir in a closet. Then, by reminding her father’s tricks, Geeta manages to win the session. And finally, she becomes the first Indian female wrestler to win gold at the Games. Mahavir returns just in time to embrace his daughters. But the frustrated Pramod’s hopes of obtaining credit for her win but Geeta gives all the credit to her father. The last scene will steal your heart with an emotional connection.

• Director: Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. His direction in this movie seems to be an excellent effort and pleasing for the audience. Directing a biographical concept is actually a very critical thing but he did it with so much ease.
• Cinematography: Setu (Satyajit Pande) has done the cinematography of Dangal. This movie holds stellar cinematography and direction to the heartfelt performances of each of its characters.
• Music: Dangal’s music is composed by Pritam. And the lyrics of the movie are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya in Hindi, and Rajesh Malaravannan in Tamil. Daler Mehndi also sang a song in the film. All the tracks of this movie have stolen the heart of the listeners.
• Acting: Aamir Khan’s performance doesn’t need any introduction, as Mr. Perfectionist has done his job with so much excellence throughout the whole movie. The Dangal girls, Geeta (Zaira Wasim, Fatima Sana Sheikh) and Babita (Suhani Bhatnagar, Sanya Malhotra) have also performed really well pour they’re each every effort in making this movie a hit.

Dangal movie mix of all emotions, it is a sports-based film. It’s funny, dramatic, dark, serious, emotional all rolled into one seamless cinematic gem. It is the movie of the year. A film that deserves a standing ovation. The story was so good that it will make you feel like a proud Indian. This is a truly special film.
Aamir Khan is the strength, dedication, and genius of Dangal. His acting is a lot more complex than just the striking physical transformation. His portrayal of Mahavir Singh Phogat is a masterclass in acting. All most of every like this movie and fully enjoyed the film.
