Kartik Aaryan continuing on his successful run in the comedy-drama movies came up with Pati Patni Aur Woh in tandem with Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday.
The Story starts with Chintu Tyagi topping the public service exams, and his parents reiterating their demand of him getting married. He succumbs to loads of pressure and agrees to get hitched up. He gets married to Vedika, a school teacher of course, by way of arranged marriage.
Their married life was going fine by and large until Chintu fell for Tapasya whom he was supposed to help in Kanpur. He speaks volumes of lies to her about his wife’s character and almost makes her believe. He realizes that he has called great troubles for himself when her wife let go of him forever. She supposedly runs away with her former lover, and Chintu is left undone by his own mistakes. He tries his level best to get her back and then comes the climax where we see both the ladies coming in tandem. It was their joint plan to give Chintu a lesson he won’t forget for ages.
Ample of comedy in the film which is the USP of Kartik Aaryan. Aparshakti Khurana must be praised for his role, he brings the most of the comical elements in the film and that dialogue of his ” Kyon Ki Wo De Gayi thi Humko” will be remembered for eternity.
