Recently, on 12th Feb 2020, a new song from Vicky Kaushal’s horror film Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship has been released. The song titled ‘Channa Ve’, the romantic track is sung by Akhil Sachdeva & Mansheel Gujral. Sachdeva has also written the lyrics and composed the music for the same.

• On 28th Jan, the teaser takes us inside a dilapidated ship, with Dharma’s trademark Kuch Kuch Hota Hai music playing in the background. Soon we see a creepy handwriting Dharma Productions on a metal plate.
• On 3 February 2020, The Bhoot trailer was launched by Dharma Productions. The trailer shows in dark and monotone hues, which introduces Kaushal’s character as a surveying officer Prithvi. He is assigned to look into the case of an abandoned ship that mysteriously landed at the shores of Mumbai. Thereee are a bunch of horrors revolving, including the ghost of a young girl, that haunts the ship. Bhoot trailer received a good response from the audience as a critic. The Movie is going to hit on theaters on 21st February 2020.

Vicky Kaushal’s search for a slightly off-stream topic brought him to horror and he too accepted it with both hands wide open. Bhoot is a no-nonsense nerve-racking horror film that is meant for horror lovers.
Vicky in the film is the surveying officer of Seabird, who is responsible for coming up with the possible reasons for the ship going abandoned. This ship is reportedly found on the coast of Mumbai with no crew members and no records of entering the Indian Waters.

Prithvi is all lost in the grief of his wife’s and daughter’s death that he almost ignores the rumors about the ship being haunted. But as soon he steps into the ship he realizes that something is fishy about the cargo carrier. Soon he is introduced with the so-called boot and realizes that he is in deep trouble. Still, he decides to get to the roots of such paranormal activities and takes the help of his friends in his quest.

If you have plans to scare the hell out of yourself by watching the film, the film is going to disappoint you. The horror quotient was not up to the mark. In a horror film, background music is something which makes it even scarier, this something the film lacks badly. Vicky’s character in the film is just phenomenal, it seems like his role of a person who skips psychic medications just to keep the thoughts of his dead family alive in his head is scarier than most of the scenes.

The bureaucracy is portrayed quite exceptionally how Prithvi and his bosses deal with them is the part to watch out for. If the horror quotient were a tad more scary and spooky the film could have been a Hollywood grade horror film, still, it manages to keep people stick to it to the very end.
