Bahubali The Beginning: Story

Bahubali’s a tale of two cousins in the Kingdom of Mahishmat. The movie starts with a scene where a woman carrying a baby falls into a waterfall and breathes her last, but somehow she holds the baby in one hand above her head. Afterward, the local
villagers rescued the baby and that baby is being adopted by Sanga (Rohini) and her husband and the couple named that baby as Shivudu", (Prabhas). Years, Later he grows up to be a strong, adventurous young man and he always been so curious about the waterfall and the land beyond.

Bahubali Falls in Love with Avantika

One day he found a wooden mask on the ground, he then gets even more curious and wants to find the owner of the mask so he climbs the waterfall & after trying so many times he succeeded. Then he meets Avanthika (Tamannaah), a warrior of a group led by Devasena’s brother engaged in a war against Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubati) of Mahishmati to rescue their former queen Devasena (Anushka Shetty). He then gets to know that the mask belongs to Avantika. Then She falls in love with Shivudu when she gets to know that he climbed the waterfall for her. Then they both get involved in the mission to rescue Devasena.

Shuvudu then gets chased by Bhadrah

Shuvudu then gets chased by Bhallaladeva’s son, Bhadrah (Adivi Sesh) and the loyal soldier Kattappa (Sathyaraj) when he tries to flee Devasena. But Kattappa drops his weapon when he realizes that Shivudu is Mahendra Baahubali, the son of late king Amarendra Baahubali. Amarendra’s past is being narrated by Kattappa. Amarendra’s uncle Bhijjaladeva (Nassar) was deemed unfit to rule due to his crooked nature and in fact, one of his arms is also disabled. Sivagami (Bijjaladeva’s wife) wants to select a new king and Amarendra was brought up together with Bijjaladeva and Sivagami’s son Bhallaladeva. Both had different approaches towards kingship, While Amarendra was gracious and loved his countrymen, Bhallaladeva was violent.

Kalakeyas Attack on Mahishmati

The army of savages called Kalakeyas attacked Mahishmati. Then it has been said by Pingaladeva that who will be able to kill Kalakeya king Inkoshi would be the future king of Mahishmati. In the war, Bhallaladeva used sophisticated weapons given by Pingaladeva, on the other hand, Amarendra used effective tactics against Kalakeya king.

Then, Bhallaladeva swung his weapon from a distance and killed the king, just when Amarendra was about to slay the king. But, finally, Amarendra becomes the new emperor, despite the fact that Bhallaladeva killed the king because of the fact that he shielded and protected his own countrymen throughout the war. Then while narrating the tale a tearful Kattappa reveals, that Amarendra is dead and that he is the one who killed him. Now the mystery is why he killed him. This mystery gets revealed in the next part.

In the climax scene, the fight happens with the Kalakeya king Inkoshi & finally, Bhallaladeva swung his weapon from a distance and killed the king. The audience gets amazed while watching the climax scene of Bahubali.
