The Past of Diana
Diana receives a photographic plate of herself by Wayne Enterprises, taken during World War 1 by four men. Hence she recalls her past. Diana the daughter of Queen Hippolyta raised on the island of Themyscira. Hippolyta explains Diana history of Amazonians that how Ares destructed humanity and when other Gods try to stop him he killed them all. But Zeus used his last power on Ares to wound him. Before dying, Zeus left the Amazons the island and a weapon called Godkiller.
The Godkiller Sword
Hippolyta tells General Antiope (Diana’s Aunt) to train her as a warrior rigorous than any other warrior. Now Diana is a young lady who once rescue pilot Captain Steve Trevor from the plane crash. Soon the German invade the island and Amazons killed the crew. Antiope sacrifices her life to save Diana. Lasso of Hestia tells Trevor that he is an Allied spy and a great war is consuming outside this world. Diana blames Ares for the war and arm herself with the Godkiller sword.
The Supreme War Council
In Supreme war council Diana translates Maru’s notebooks which says that Germans are planning to release the gas at the western front. Steve hires spy Sameer, Marksman Charlie, and Smuggler Chief Napi to stop Germans to release the gas. Here Diana goes alone through no man’s land and captures the enemy. And later took help of allied forces. Diana and Steve develop a love for each other.
The Final Battle
Now they come to know that gala will be at German High command. Steve and Diana segregate, Steve destroys the gas and Diana go to kill Ludendorff believing that he is Ares and killing him will end the war. But Steve stops her to do so hence Ludendorff unleash the gas. Then Diana kills him but she gets confused that even after killing him wae does not stop.
Eventually, Morgan appears there and reveals that he is Ares, Diana takes outer sword Godkiller to kill him but Ares destroys it. And reveals that Diana herself is Godkiller as she is the daughter of Zeus and Hippolyta. He fails to convince Diana to destroy mankind in order to make a paradise on earth and kills him.
