Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Movie Story
It is a comedy film directed by Luv Ranjan. In the story, the writer starts the movie with the scene where Titu (Sunny Nijar) crying as his girlfriend has stopped talking to him & wants to break up because he opened Tinder on her phone. Tinder is a dating app which she shouldn’t even have in her phone while being in a relationship with Titu. Afterward, Titu’s best friend Sonu (Kartik Aaryan), tells him that you shouldn’t cry for her as she is not the right one for you but Titu used to trusts her girlfriend with everything. Ultimately, Sonu told Titu that you have to choose between Pihu and him and Titu chooses his best friend over his girlfriend.
After 6 months of Titu’s Breakup
After his breakup when six months are over, now Titu’s family tells him that now he should get married as a known family has shown interest in him for their daughter. Then Titu gets agreed that ok I’ll meet the girl, Sweety (Nushrat Bharucha). When they both met, Sweety seems to be an extremely caring, loving, sensitive girl. But somehow, Sonu didn’t like her as he thinks that there is something fishy about her.
He interrogates about her when he came to know that actually, she owns bad intentions, but its actually too late as Titu falls in love with her & their engagement gets fixed. Sonu reveals everything about Sweety in front of Titu’s whole family but Sweety turns the whole story somewhere else where she had no fault. And then on the engagement night, Sweety reveals to Sonu that she, in fact, is a clever schemer and challenges him that she will throw him out of Titu’s life and home very soon.

Challenge Between Sweety and Sonu
Then the challenge between Sweety & Sonu brings the storyline to another place. Afterward, Sonu tries to protect Titu in every possible way & also tries to break their engagement but somehow Sweety turns to be a great player in this game. No matter how many efforts Sonu did to bring her real face in front of Titu he always failed to do so. Finally, on their wedding day, he again makes a final attempt and gives Titu the ultimatum again: ‘It’s her lies or my truth, it’s either her or me’, and walks away from the wedding, crying. And again friendship won against love & Titu chooses his best friend Sonu over Sweety & leaves the Mandap.
Movie Climax
In the Climax, Sonu’s eyes were filled with tears. He was looking at Titu by saying if it is between him or her, it will always be his best friend & after saying this Sonu & then he leaves the mandap. In the above scene, Sweety standing in the mandap and coming to terms that her malicious tactics cannot always triumph & friendships cannot break if a girl comes between two best friends. At last, Sonu, Titu, Ghasite, and Lalu are seen sitting and drinking by the pool realizing that good girls do not exist these days & the movie ends.

Direction Review
It is been directed by Luv Ranjan. The direction by him in the whole movie seemed okay zooming up the entertainment value to a certain extent. But he failed to take the movie to another level.

And obviously “Tera Yaar Hoon Main” the friendship song was so good to the ears & own an emotional connect.
Acting Review
Sonu (Kartik Aryan) and Titu (Sunny Singh)’s performance as inspirational Childhood friends took the heart of millions. They both have performed really well in their specific characters. All the emotions portrayed by them seem to reach the heart of the audience. While Sweety (Nushrat Bharucha) also did a good job with her role. The other actors in the movie also did justice to their roles. Acting review of all the actors are quite good, but they can offer us even more. At some places, that audience connect was not there.
