Story of Cars 3
The Racing Competition
McQueen and the other ace racers of the Piston cup racing competition unexpectedly find themselves by trying to win against next-generation beginners like Jackson Strom, who uses upgraded technology and latest training methods. As Strom outbreak success charms other beginners to series, most of the ace racers either retire or removed to make way for a new generation.
McQueen’s Struggles to Win
In the final race of the year, McQueen extremely tries to overtake Storm but loses his control and badly crash in which he injured badly. After four months, Mc Queen is still regaining in Radiator Springs, separating himself his friends and passing his time watching video clips of his late Coach Doc Hudson. After gathering some support from his girlfriend Sally. McQueen chooses to come back to racing and calls his sponsors from Rust-Eze, Rusty and Dusty, who disclose that they sold the team to a new owner named Sterling. Its a new and latest training center, Sterling appoints McQueen to train under trainer Cruz Ramirez. McQueen strain to adjust to Cruz’s latest systems and fails to raise, in the process he damaged an expensive simulator. So Sterling attempts to force him into retirement.
McQueen Pitch a Deal
McQueen pitch a deal, if he wins the first race of the season, he can continue racing as long as he wants else he will retire himself. Sterling is afraid about harming McQueen’s popularity, but accept the deal but appoints Cruz to join him.
McQueen attempts to train on nearby Fireball Beach but ends up passing most of his time educating Cruz how to drive on the sandy ground. McQueen than tries to join a race unrecognized at a popular dirt track named Thunder Hollow, but unknowingly enter Figure 8 style demolition derby with Cruz which she eventually wins. McQueen’s identity is also disclosed, adding to his disgrace. Mad at the outward waste of training time, McQueen angers at Cruz and in the process unknowingly breaks her winning trophy. Cruz discloses that she had wanted to be a racer just like McQueen all her life.
The Guilty
Guilty with no other option left, McQueen calls his best friend Mater for guidance. He recommends that McQueen tracks down Doc’s hometown of Thomasville, so McQueen hooks up to Cruz and brainwashes her to join him. In Thomasville MacQueen meets up with Smokey who discloses that although the reality Doc never race again, he discovers new happiness in training McQueen. When McQueen gains that he will never be a fast as storm, Smokey and his friends help MacQueen to learn new ideas to overcome his speed drawback, utilizing Cruz as his Sparring Partner. Despite that, at the time of the final practice race, Cruz accidentally overtakes him and reminding him to his crash.
The Race in Florida
At the time race in Florida, McQueen starts last in the race but with the training from Smokey, he manages to slowly push up the ranks. Sterling, who still believes McQueen cannot win the race, tells Cruz to go back to the training center although her wanting to stay and watch the race.
Hearing the exchange and memorizing Cruz’s desires to race. McQueen instead has his team fit out her to take his place in the race. Cruz is able to ranks McQueen instructions to her finally ends up right behind Strom. Strom felling pressured attempts to frighten Cruz even to the point of impacting her against the wall in the final lap of the race. Cruz, however, uses one of Docs old idea to outsmart him and wins the race.
McQueen’s Winning Celebration
As she celebrating her victory in the race, Sterling approaches her a role on his team. Sterling reminds McQueen of his bet, but as MacQueen started the race that Cruz finished, he also gets the share of the win thus winning his bet. Now decorated in Docs racing color he decided to continue racing and to train Cruz.
