Robert Kurzman just dropped me a line from the set of his latest film Buried Alive which he is currently shooting in New Mexico. He has sent along some exclusive pics from the set of the film as well. You can check them out there on the right and then also at the bottom of this article.
Bob says that he will be filming for about another week on the New Mexico set and then post production should take till about November. I asked Bob what he thinks of what hes shot so far and he eagerly replied Its my best work to date. Well shit, cant wait to see that.
Kurtzman also had the following to pass along:
We are in our final week of shooting. Its been a experience working with a talented cast and crew here in New Mexico and Working with Director of Photography - Tom Callaway (Feast) has been a reel highlight for me. The film is a visual feast filled with creepy set pieces. "I really want to capture the creepy feel of films like Black Sabbath ( the old women segment)...that freaked me out when I was a kid and still gives me chills to this day.
Lots of stuff on Mr. Kurtzmans plate this year. As soon as he wraps Buried Alive its back to Ohio to continue his work on The Rage. Then of course he and his company Precinct 13 are handling the FX on the other two Horror Chronicle entries that will round out the trilogy of which Buried Alive is a part. Wow. No rest for the weary.
Okay, so now check out the photos from Buried Alive. Keep it here for all the latest.
