Fangoria is reporting that the horror entertainment website Urbanchillers.com is starting a contest today they are calling THE SCREAM, a venture opened to anyone with a small electronic device such as a cell phone, digital camera or personal digital assistant. The object is to make a short movie no longer than two minutes in one continuous take and submit it for the chance to win a $250.00 cash prize. There will be several winners, and the first winner will be announced sometime in June, although a later gala event will be held in Los Angeles in December to celebrate all of the winners. There are no restrictions on subject matter, and the entries are free to be as explicit or as atmospheric as they like.
You may enter as many two-minute shorts as you like, though you are only eligible to win once. All shorts will be judged by visitors to Urbanchillers.mobi.
