It wouldn't be the Halloween season in NYC if the NYCHFF wasn't gearing up for another round of frights and blood.  A premiere genre event it has quickly become a hot bed of new talent and a place for genre pros to flex their muscle.

This year an interesting mix of films has been set up to bring you chills and thrills.  One of the highlights will be Herschel Gordon Lewis recieving the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The show will run Oct. 24th - 28th and will feature showing of films through out the 4 days.  A complete listing is posted over at their official site so you're going to want to run over there right away and check out their awsome line up.
