it rockin. I have 4 gift packs of 5 DVD’s each of these great BCI
titles. Read on for all the info on the discs and then click on
the link at the bottom to enter to win.
Halloween can
produce all kinds of chills, thrills and scares. But true horror
fans will be in all their “gore-ified” glory as BCI, a wholly owned
subsidiary of Navarre Corporation, presents five titles for a long
night of horror mayhem. “Crypt of Terror: Land of the
Minotaur/Terror;” Starlite Drive-In Theater: The Madmen of Mandoras/The
Devil’s Hand;” “MPD—Psycho;” “The Tomie Collection;” and “Don’t Answer
The Phone!” are available now.
Crypt of Terror
Land of the Minotaur—Tourists
visiting a Greek Archaeological site are abducted by a strange cult,
intent on sacrificing them to their God, the Minotaur. Starring
horror legends Peter Cushing and Donald Pleasence.
Terror—When filmmaker James Garrick
holds a screening party for a movie about the violent deaths of his
real-life ancestors, party guests suddenly start meeting their own
untimely deaths. Could the curse of one of Garrick’s deceased
relatives be seeking vengeance centuries later?
Starlite Drive-In Theater
The Madmen of Mandoras (aka They
Saved Hitler’s Brain)—After giving a speech about the deadliest nerve
gas ever developed, Dr. John Coleman mysteriously vanishes. He is
believed to be on the island of Mandoras, where years earlier, a group
of fanatics from Nazi Germany carried out a secret experiment to give
eternal life to the brain of Adolph Hitler.
The Devil’s Hand—Rick Turner
experiences a bizarre case of ménages a trois when the beautiful woman
that haunts his dreams mysteriously appears in the face of a doll at
the local shop. When Rick then notices that another doll
strangely looks exactly like his fiancé, he finds himself caught in the
throws of a satanic cult.
MPD—Psycho
From the twisted mind of Japan’s
renowned director, Takashi Miike (“Audition,” “Ichi The Killer”), comes
this six-part Japanese television miniseries, available for the first
time on DVD, in a four-disc set.
Detective Yosuke Kobayashi witnesses
the brutal murder of his wife by serial killer Shinji Nishizono, and
the shock causes Kobayashi to suffer from multiple personality
disorder. Taking on the new persona of Kazuhiko Amamiya,
Kobayashi hunts down his wife’s killer, which leads to a new series of
brutal murders.
The Tomie Collection
Based on the popular manga books by
Junji Ito (“Uzumaki”), “The Tomie Collection” is a series of five films
available on DVD in a boxed set for the first time.
The “Tomie” series begins in 1999,
when a traumatized young woman is trying to recover her memories with
the help of a psychiatrist. During her sessions, she repeats the
name “Tomie” over and over again, unable to recall from where it came.
As a police detective investigates a
series of brutal murders, he comes across the name “Tomie,” and must
piece together the mysterious puzzle and find out the connection to the
young woman.
Don’t Answer The Phone!
This is no stranger calling, as a
Vietnam vet is terrorizing Los Angeles, strangling young women in their
homes. After each murder, the killer taunts a radio talk show
host by calling in and describing his psychotic exploits. Police
detectives get on the case, hoping to find the psycho killer before he
strikes again.
Four of you will win a prize pack
that consists of all 5 of these titles. What better way to
celebrate the Halloween season.
