The Dream Master (1988) Synopsis:
Freddy returns one more time to hunt for Kirsten, her friend Alice, and the survivors from the previous movie (there is no real plot to describe in fact, hehe). Dream demon Freddy Krueger is resurrected from his apparent demise, and rapidly tracks down and kills all three of the surviving Elm Street kids. However, Alice (who has the ability to draw others into her dreams) wills her special ability to her friend Alice before her demise.
The Dream Master (1988) Review:
This fourth episode of the Nightmare on Elm street, as for the fifth and sixth, are unfortunately a lot less good than the three first ones. Despite the entertainment of the new kills that the authors have come up with, and good special effects, the series starts to gradually lose its interest. As said in the synopsis, there is no real plot and this movie appears more as a compilation of Freddy’s kills than anything else. From this movie on to the sixth one, the character of Freddy slowly swifts from the initial nightmarish maniac to a funny murderer whose plays on the word are simply not funny.
