An Indian Soldier
Lieutenant General Nikhil Bakshi (Aman Vasishth) pitches a batch of Indian soldiers onboard INS Virat, framing a woman’s achievement while serving as an undercover agent of the RAW. The story displays the events preceding the India Pakistan war of 1971.
Hidayat Khan (Rajit Kapur) is the son of Indian freedom fighter he wishes to make her daughter Sehmat ( Alia Bhatt ) an agent and continue the family custom of being in service to the country. Hidayat Khan approaching death from lung cancer.
Against her wish Sehmat dropped her college and to prepare her to spy, she is rapidly trained by senior RAW officer Khalid Mir (Jaideep Ahlawat ) and his assistance Bakshi, in various fields martial arts and shooting. The character Sehmat (Alia Bhatt) proves to be a fast learner.
Sehmat Marriage
The Sehmat married to Iqbal Syed (Vicky Kaushal ) a Pakistani military officer who’s is the son of Brigadier Syed (Shishir Sharma ) of the Pakistan army. She quickly settles in the new country and managed to gain the confidence of her in-laws .in a meanwhile Brigadier Syed upgraded o Major General, which results in critical national security documents and information about senior members of the country defense forces who visiting his house.
But soon after Sehmat fall in love with his husband Iqbal. One day, Sehmat find information related to the planning an offensive against India and at great risk, she able to gather essential details and pass on them to RAW. One of the servants, Abdul find the truth of Sehmat and rushes to inform others about her. Sehmat kill Abdul to avoid exposing her cover.
Climax
Sehmat plans to kill Mehboob Syed,(Ashwath Bhatt ), Iqbal’s brother who is also an army officer and investigating Abdul’s death. Sehmat succeeds in poisoning him with using an umbrella. After killing Mehboob Shemot is mentally disturbed, having widowed Munira (Amruta Khanvilkar) Mehboob’s wife, but she quickly recovers. Iqbal confronts Sehmat with the police but dies from a bomb thrown by Khalid Mir, who has arrived with a team to extract Sehmat, to cause her death should she be caught.
Sehmat is alive, having switched places with another burqa-clad agent. She realizes the smallness of relationships and humanity in this line of work. After returning to India Sehmat find that she is pregnant with Iqbal’s child and decided to keep him and raised him alone.

Raazi is a wonderful movie is to watch, brilliantly acted by lead actors Vicky Kaushal and none other than talented Alia Bhatt.
The movie pulls off the excellent script with wonderful acting and a really believable story.
It’s lovely to watch Sehmat Character which is played by Alia Bhatt with so much ease.

The lyrics of the songs written by none other than Gulzar and music is given by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.
Arjit Singh hits the right notes, in the patriotic song and my favorite Ai Watan.
