Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is a Tamil action, and a romantic film written and directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon. Silambarasan TR is playing the lead position in this film. The film is to be produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International. While Music has composed by AR Rahman, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, and editing by Anthony. It also stars Siddique, Siddhi Idnani, Raadhika Sarathkumar, and Angelina Abraham. The film was shoot in Thiruchendur and Mumbai.

In the one-minute-long teaser, Shimbu has shown as a village pearl. We can also see his weapons and handling guns. Pearl, played by Silamberson, is an ordinary man trying to make a living by working on something he can’t do. We suddenly see a different side of him as he occurs to be caught up in the confrontation and turned into a murderer who fires at people and cuts his throat mindlessly.
