The White Tiger Movie Plot
It’s the tale of a poor yet talented man, named Balram. He works as a driver for Ashok and Pinky Madam. Once Balram starts to work as a driver, he stops sending money back to his house. On his trip back, Balram even disrespects his grandmother. During his time as a driver, Balram is exposed to many differences and corruptions in the Indian government. One day, Pinky Madam takes the wheel, while being drunk, and hits something (a young child), and continues to drive.
As the driver, Balram is pressured by Ashok to confess and say that he was driving alone. This is where Balram becomes involved in bribing the officials. It was then when he decided to kill Ashok as he would be able to escape his poverty. Balram kills Ashok, steals the bribe, and flees to Bangalore. In a new city, Balram sets up his own business and adopts Ashok’s way of doing business, and continues to make money.
