Suraj Present and Flashback

Boxer Suraj (Randeep Hooda) is an ex-boxer who does multiple jobs to earn as much money as possible but lives a lonely life in Malaysia. During his new job as a parking attendant, he ends up meeting Jenny (Kajal Aggarwal) a blind yet a cheerful girl who is surviving in the city all alone. They soon became friends and the chemistry sparks between the two. Suraj’s old Boxing coach Om (Mamik Singh) suggests him to come back to the club but Suraj replies to him that he has stopped fighting. He rewinds that three years ago, during a boxing match his opponent’s wife urged him to lose as she needed the prize money for her daughter’s treatment. In order to help, Suraj loses the fight deliberately but later finds out that it was all a plan set by the opponent boxer.

Realization of Mistake

After trashing him in a nightclub, Suraj loses his boxing license and also stops trusting or caring for anyone. He later started working as a recovery agent but during one such recovery case, a man jumps out of his apartment window down on the road, leading to a car crash. For that mistake, Suraj has to serve 2 years in jail and after coming out he used to take care of treatment of that man.

Back to the present, Suraj now falls in love with Jenny and wants to propose her, but on reaching her house he finds Jenny’s boss hassling her. Suraj hits him up, by seeing that Jenny gets mad as she got feared of losing the job. Suraj promises to take care of her and takes her home. He proposes Jenny and asks her about her parents. Suraj is then stunned to discover that Jenny’s blindness and her parent’s death, both are due to the same car crash happened 3 years ago. Feeling responsible for all those, Suraj decides to get Jenny operated for Eye loss but needs 3 lakh rupees within a month. Suraj asks help from his old coach for the money.

Suraj Met With Accident

Suraj’s old competitor Sikandar offers him to join an illegal fight club, where the owner Gavin (Yuri Suri) gives him 3 lakhs for losing the fight. Suraj’s old boxing coach, Om tries to stop Suraj as such kind of illegal fights may lead to fighter’s death or permanent handicap. During the fight, Sikandar enrages him and Suraj beats him up. Gavin gets anger and gives Suraj a last chance to pay back 3 lakhs money by delivering a bag of drugs to others. While Jenny is been operated for eyes in the hospital, Suraj delivers the package only to be run over by Sikandar’s car, leading to severe spinal injury.

Reunity of Suraj and Jenny

Jenny gets her eyes back but feels disappointed for not seeing Suraj and mistook that he abandoned her. Six months later, Jenny works at the same hospital as a physiotherapist, where Suraj is getting treated for spinal injury but she’s unable to recognize him. Suraj too didn’t reveal his integrity to Jenny, because of his disabled condition. Once Suraj started walking with clutches, he decides to finally meet Jenny and reveal the truth. But seeing Jenny with another man, Suraj thinks that Jenny has now moved on and started a new life. Hence, Suraj walks away with a broken heart and visits the place where they both used to spend quality time. In search of Suraj, Jenny also reaches the same spot and they reunite in the end.
