The Walking Dead: Season 3 Review:
Season 3 is not yet finished but I already love it. I don’t know if it’s because I am also reading the comic books that are amazing (still quite different from the TV show), but I feel like Frank Darabont has really tried to get us to be implicated and attached to the different characters in this one.
I really like the different personalities from this series, and the new characters add up to the story quite nicely. The only thing is that I am quite annoyed by Rick’s character. I used to really like this actor (Andrew Lincoln), but now I am starting to get irritated by his presence. He is the main character and has very good acting, so that’s why I might be really implicated in his story. He is a good leader, but sometimes he should back off and let other people take the reins. I hate that he starts killing people, (not walkers), just because he doesn’t want any threats. I do understand his actions, but still, my opinion of him is quite shared… * spoilers * The fact that his wife dies is a good thing, we wouldn’t want all the lucky people – by lucky I mean people who still have their family – to survive!
To add to that, the idea of living in a prison is actually awesome; for once, people want to be locked in and protected by barriers. But being safe can also lead to being unsafe…as people who live in communities always want the best for their own community. The survivor war is on!
I think Season 3 is the best season so far, with all the excitement of the prison and the Governor’s community. I am really looking forward to the rest of the season.
