The Pack (2015) Review:

The Pack, first movie by director Nick Robertson, is not a remake of the 1977’s movie of the same name (that I haven’t seen). It is quite an unusual movie in that it really feels like a home invasion (it has the tension and the suspense of it) but it features crazy wolves/dogs instead of human invaders.

Far from movies like Cujo which focuses on the dog itself, but more like The Breed, this movie is centered around the family and on how they can survive the night alone. This works surprisingly well here and the movie manages to be gripping all along. Thereee is good suspense and the acting is good enough not to be noticeable.

Yet, do not expect amazing things. The movie is stereotypical of home invasion movies and quite predictable all along. The wolves attack are pretty standards too. Yet, it was better than I initially expected. A decent watch.
