Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013) Review:

Texas Chainsaw 3D is not a remake, but actually a sequel to the Texas Chain Saw Massacre. It is very confusing because the beginning of the story is very similar to the original movie: some kids decide to go to Texas and discover the house where Leatherface was/is living. And then the action starts.

The story described at the beginning of the movie, which actually introduces what happens in the whole movie, is a pretty good idea, to bring Leatherface back to life, and explaining how all the people from the village destroyed the Sawyer place. But then it’s all about cutting people into pieces and no turnarounds.

What I particularly disliked and didn’t understand, is how the main role changed so easily thinking that her birth family was the victim. It seems that she forgets that Leatherface is a killer, and she easily becomes one of them. It’s a bit exaggerated; you don’t give up on your life just to take care of a crazy killer who doesn’t even understand the meaning of what he is doing.

In all, disappointing even though I wasn’t expecting anything amazing.
