Sinister Review:

Sinister is the kind of movie that you cannot really pause because the mystery is so thick, and the investigation too intriguing, to stop it half-way through. The film starts very aggressively by showing you people hanged and quickly a series of a gruesome murder. From that point, I was really expecting great things, only to get disappointed. I heard a lot of critics saying that “SInister” was particularly scary. Instead, I found the scares from the first half of the movie really cheap and predictable. It gets better in the second part, but nothing really innovative. The music is really creepy though, and the atmosphere really dark! The end finished to disappoint me, I was really hoping to see and learn more about this Bughuul guy, but the movie remained shallow instead! A good movie, but slightly overrated in my opinion.
