Football is another big craze in India after Cricket. Also, Penalty movie is based on the scene of live Indian Football. This movie highlight a player form the North of India and how people discriminate him as an outsider. Even after having world-class skills, he has to go through the cast domination. Now, how will he come back from this, and how will he fight with the Indian Football system is what the entire movie all about.
The story is about a Football player named Lukram who is come from Manipur to Lucknow to pursue his dream of playing in the Indian Football team. But as he visits the college he has to go through a lot of racism. Not only that but even during the college sports selection process he gets rejected.
But he wants to get in the Football team, hence he tries hard to do that. What happens best is how he gets support from one of the students due to his game. The entire movie revolves around Lukram and how he manages to fulfill his dream to be an Indian Football player.
