Paranormal Activity 2 (2010)Review:
This movie is a copy of the first one in terms of concept and storyline, but a copy that actually fails where the original movie succeeded. In my opinion, writers/directors did not really scratched their mind to find new innovative ideas to scare us. This results in a rather boring “horror” movie in which the paranormal events are very cliché and way too simple (lots of closing doors and moving pots!). Of course, the tense atmosphere created by witnessing the events through security cameras is still here, but somehow fails at captivating the spectator, probably because the concept has now lost its surprising effect. Only recommended to those who liked the first one.
