Haunt (2014) Review:
Reading the synopsis of that movie: “A family moves into a new house with a dark history”, I hope you all thought: “What? again!” Well yes, again. As the title suggests, Haunt is yet another ghost story, another one similar to all the other ones, with nothing to make it stand out of the lot.
Apart from a couple of interesting twists towards the end, the story is forgettable. The same goes for the acting and for the special effects, not particularly bad but nothing special either. The atmosphere is dark, I’ll give you that, but apart from a few creepy moments, in the beginning, the film is all about cheap jump scares.
If you’re new into the horror genre or particularly fond of ghost movies, check it out. If you’re a long time horror fan, I really think you’ll be bored
