End of the Line (2007) Review:

End of the Line is amongst the best low-budget movies I’ve ever seen. Shot with about 200 000 $CAD, this movie combine a solid plot, great action and crazy horror scenes.

The movie starts slowly as a normal low-budget monster movie, with the average acting and weird camera angles, but just when you think that you’ll have another boring creature action film, it takes you completely by surprise with a totally unexpected turn and, from this point, madness really takes over.

The concept of a secret religious society who organizes to take over the city is pretty crazy, and especially well-implemented in that film. The film explores many themes of horror: supernatural, fanatism, claustrophobic fear, human madness and desperation. The fanatics are pretty scary too, but the all atmosphere remains fun in the meantime. Overall a very entertaining movie.
