Over a week ago we reported that an uncut print of Stanley Kubrick's THE SHINING (1980) would be screened at George Eastman House's Dryden Theater in Rochester, NY.

The information was, unfortunately, incorrect, despite being posted on the Dryden website.  It seems that a cataloging error was to blame and, instead, they will be showing the version that is widely available on VHS, laserdisc, DVD and Blu-ray, and will
not include the additional scenes with the nurse and Mr. Ullman at the hospital.  The film will be screened on 35mm, so if you are in the area this is a treat to see the film the way it was meant to be seen.

Our apologies for relaying this incorrect information to our readers.
