David Arquette, the name will either make you smile or make you run away screaming. Personally I like the guy. I enjoyed Eight Legged Freaks and regardless of what your personal feelings about the Scream films are you have to give them their due for helping out the genre.
Variety is reporting today that he will get his first chance at the directors chair when he goes behind the camera for something called Trippin.
An early synopsis breaks the project down:
A group of sexed up teens, on their way to a huge concert festival find themselves stalked by a sadistic killer who apparently has returned to finish a job that had been begun years earlier.
Although the synopsis dont really get the heart pumping, I do like the cast list, check this out:
Jamie King, Thomas Jane, Jason Mewes and Paul Ruebens. Yep, Jay and and Pee Wee Herman in the same film. How can you not love that? Arquette and his wife Courtney Cox Arquette will cameo.
