Story of Aiyaary
Bribe Offer
Major Jai Bakshi (Siddharth Malhotra) a special operation unit officer of DSD one day conducting a telephonic surveillance in south block od New Delhi. During the surveillance, he hears that Rtd. Lt. General Gurinder Singh,(Kumud Mishra) a representative of Indian Army, trying to bribe The army chief Pratap Malik(Vikram Gokhale). A bribe of USD 2.5mn on behalf of the Czech company. But the chief Partap Malik directly rejects his offer and rebukes him this makes Gurindra very annoyed and angry hence he threatens him to expose DSD in public.
Jai Escapes
When Jai heard about the threats to expose DSD he suspects that DSD has definitely done something unlawful or a major scamp which involves Indian army also. He continues the surveillance for the next two months with the help of his girlfriend Soniya (Rakul Preet Singh) who is a cyber expert. then both of them escapes to London. Here Capt Maya (Pooja Chopra shares this information to Col. Abhay Singh (Manoj Bajpayee) a team leader and Jai’s mentor that Jai escaped to London with a very important and sensitive date with her girlfriend.
Abhay Searches for Jai
Meanwhile, Abhay activates his intelligence networking and set a manhunt for Jai. he raids Jai’s house but in vain he founds there nothing. Here a special investigating army spy, Bri. K Srinivas spying on Abhay’s activities and keep updating Gurindra about it. But the smart Abhay makes Srinivas fool and manages to escape from there and here DSD shifta the location of there office and it’s not disclosed to anyone.THe annoyed Gurindra calls a famous Journalist and provides her the very sensitive information of Indian army which will expose their secrets.
Abhay Flies to London
Here Malik meets Abhay and inform him about the termination of DSD and tells him the foreign involvement of Indian defense and Guriandra involvement with the resourceful and powerful London based arms dealer Mukesh Kapoor (Adil Hussian) who id the main culprit behind all this. Abhay promises to Malik that he will expose the culprit and keep up the dignity of the Indian army. Here Srinivas still spying on Abhay and on his activities. Abhay tells his team to keep their profile low so that they can’t be recognized and he flies to London whereas other members stay in India.
Jai Threats Gurindra
Here Jai in London calls Gurindra that he will not bear any renegotiating in the deal and if dos os then he will bug his house the scared Guriendra agree and transfer the amount in Jai’s account. Meanwhile, Abhay reaches London and meet Tariq (Anupam Kher) Tariq is a middle man who works for intelligence. with his help, Abhay tries to locate Jai and Soniya but fails and Jai gets alert. Then Abhay meets Mukesh and tells him that Jai is absconding with very sensitive data of Indian Army. However, DSD manages to catch Gurinder. Abhay informs Sonia that Jai’s life is in danger instead of telling her the arrest of Gurinder. He tells her to tell Jai to change his location.
Jai Kills Agents
Here Jai meet with MI-6 officer and in that meeting, he kills two agents and he is also wounded and goes to meet Abhay who is waiting for him with Soniya. Mukesh feels cheated and takes Tariq as his hostage and plans to kill him but Jai tells him not to kill him as he will surrender all the sensitive information about Mukesh Kapoor’s deal and tells him to meet him personally to which he agrees. Jai informs Abhay about the housing scamp of Mumbai which involves defense minister. Here Abhay meets Baburao (Nasseruddin Shah) the only eyewitness of the scamp and record his statement and forward it to Kamya. She decides to go with Abhay instead of Gurinder hence exposes the in Indian army scamp. Gurinder is unable to bear this shame and insult and shoots himself.
