Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota Hit or Flop
Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota is a wonderful movie with a great storyline. In fact, the movie was made with a very low budget and managed to gross around 3.5 Cr in the Box Office. Actually, the movie was not that great in the box office but has a great story. Comparing the movie with its budget (approx 2Cr) and it’s Box Office, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota is not a Hit movie.
Story of Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota
A Rare Disorder
Surya borns under a rare and strange condition in traumatic circumstances, later he is diagnosed with a dysfunction called congenital insensitivity to pain. He is raised by his father and grandfather. Surya’s childhood and school life are very difficult because of his disorder, as he does not feel any pain and doesn’t get hurt. Other used to bully him but he finds a friend in his neighborhood named Supri.
As his father is very well aware of his condition he encourages Surya to learn Martial arts at home only. he used to bring VHS tape for Surya and he watches that tapes repeatedly in order to learn martial arts. The young Surya memorize one tape of 100 man karate Kumite which is fought by a one-legged man called karate mani.
Surya’s first incursion is on Supri’s abusive father but it resulted unexpectedly and they have to leave the building in which they are living. Then Surya and Supri get separated in their childhood only and find their own ways. Here Surya is learning martial arts by watching VHS tapes with the help, of his grandfather and there Supri is getting training under karate mani who saved her once on railway tracks.
Surya and Supri Meet Again
Now an adult Surya remained as geek as he is in childhood because his father never allows him to go out. But one day finally his father allows him to go out and Surya finds a poster of his childhood idol karate mani and the poster takes him to the same building where years ago Supri and he got separated. And it’s Supri only who are pasting that poster but they did not recognize each other.
He is shocked to see Supri fighting with a goon to save a lady. Next day he goes to the address mentioned on the poster but he is knocked by evil twin jimmy and Supri comes to rescue him. Theyntale him to hospital and Supri was taken away forcefully from there by her boyfriend Atul. Here Mani escaped from hospital fearing the bill. Mani gets impressed with Surya’s skill and tells him his story.
Mani and Jimmy
Jimmy and Mani both were trained by their father since their childhood, Mani learns and shows his martial arts easily and wins his father’s heart. which made Jimmy envoy on Mani. Once Mani saves Jimmy’s life from a speeding vehicle and in this Mnai lost his leg which further elevates Mani in his father’s eyes and Jimmy feels lonely, his father gifted Mani a locket whereas Jimmy goes on to crime path.
Once Mani caught his girlfriend and Jimmy in bed which makes permanent enmity between them. And Mani feels guilty. Later Jimmy stated his own security agency and started bullying Jimmy. Here Supri reveals that Atul won her as he taking care of her parents’ medical expenses, and helplessly she has to be with Atul. Atul is taking her family to Canada for treatment but she feels that she is trapping in the same thing in which her mother spent her life.
Supri Rescue Surya
Jimmy steal Mani’s locket and Surya helps him to bring it back. Surya’s grandfather tells him not to get into all this as it is very dangerous. Mani and Jimmy go to Jimmy’s office to meet him and here at airport Supri’s mother tells her to run away from Atul som that she can live her life. Supri agreed and goes direct to Jimmy’s office. At Jimmy’s office, his staff fights with them and surprise to see that Surya is not getting hurt.
The staff locked them into the fire and leave from there meanwhile Suori arrives there and saves them. Then they take refuge in the same building where they used to live in childhood which is deserted for reconstruction. Next morning they all are captured by Jimmy and he plans an evil game for the One on one fight with the staff. When Surya’s turn came he hits all his staff and the angry Jimmy takes out his gun to shoot Surya but Supri snatches the gun and shoots Jimmy dead.
Review of Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota
Directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Ronnie Screwala Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota is First Indian superhero movie which I feel have great real action, the film has great stunts which are almost real. Not like massy unrealistic stunts. This movie is very easy going and flows smoothly that you constantly have a smile on your face… No unnecessary drama or songs are part of this flick which makes it interesting… Everyone should give a try to unique twist to why Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota Awards or no appreciation for these kinda flicks surely will motivate makers to come out such good movies.
Starcast Performance
Abhimanyu Dasani is an actor who wants to show something new to Bollywood in his first film. He is a star kid but not debuted with a Rom-com or Repeated action movies like other star kids. He will be one of the star kid born with talents. Hope he becomes successful in the future.
Radhika Madan, she is lit, She does good stunts she does dance everything that a Bollywood actress wants. Moreover, the good thing is that she is getting a good screen presence. Most of the Hindi cinema heroine will be like a doll. But in this, she is doing some great stunts which all should appraise.
Music Review
Dipanjan Guha and Karan Kulkarni are the music composer of the movie. Thereee are eight songs in the movie sung by Vishal Mishra, Surya Raghunathan, Karan Kulkarni, Sanjh V, Kamakshi Rai, and Benny Dayal. But the music fails to impress the audience as no catchy tunes.
