Story of Jagga Jasoos
Purulia Arms Drop
The movie begins in Purulia in West Bengal 1995 were few farmers are working in a field suddenly a military aircraft passes through the field and drops some illegal items in the field and a journalist captured this picture. Now the movie comes to the present day where Shruti (Katrina Kaif) is launching his comics named Jagga Jasoos based on Jagga ( Ranveer Kapoor). the comic introduces Jagga, he is an orphan boy, who is introvert because he has stammering issues hence he doesn’t talk much. one day he finds a man wounded and he rushed him to hospital and the man is the same journalist who clicked pictures of arms drop. he used to visit him daily and the journalist also recovering rapidly
Jagga Get Adopted
The journalist asks Jagga his name several times but he didn’t reply when he comes to know that Jaggs doesn’t talk much as he has stammering issues. Then he gives an idea to Jagga sing and tells whatever he wants to say as while singing one doesn’t stammer and Jagga founds him working and stars doing that. Gradually they came very close to each other and the journalist adopts Jaggs. his name is Badal Bagchi( Saraswat Chatterji). once few men come to catch Bagchi so they escaped from there and Baghi enrolls Jagga in boarding school.
Jagga Becomes Detective
Now Jagga is a grown-up boy in boarding school. Then Jagga develops an interest to become a detective hence in his boarding he takes the first case of his English teacher death. She investigates the case a solve it as it is not suicided it is a pre-planned murder done by his PT teacher and his wife. Here Jagga’s birthday comes and he is enjoying and partying with his friend but usually waiting for a tape which he used to get from his father every era on his birthday and it is the best and happiest day of Jagga’s life. Meanwhile, it shows that Bagchi started working for Sinha ( Saurabh Shukla) of clicking pictures.
Shruti’s Second Book
Now the story again comes to the present day where Shruti is talking about the second case. The book it says that Shruti a journalist comes from London to know more about the illegal ammunition racket going on. Now suddenly few men looking for Shruti arrives but with the help of Jagga she escaped from there and reveals that her boyfriend was killed by the head of this racket so she wants to expose this racket and Jagga promises her to help and she returned back to her home happily and she will come whenever he wants her help.
Bagchi’s Death
A year passed and again Jagga is waiting for his birthday tape but he didn’t get any so he started waiting for the tape daily. Here Sinha fired Bagchi from his job. As Bagchi has some important tape with him which gas secrets of influential people. Bagchi met with an accident and passed away. When Jagga got the news of Bagchi’s demise he went to West Bengal for his prayer meeting where he meets Sinha who tells him about the tape and Jagga is Unaware of that. Jagga escapes from there and goes to Shruti then Shruti tells her the story of Bagchi the journalist and Jagga tell Shruti to accompany him to Mombaca.

Now both of them went to Mombaca and by dancing and singing, they earned money and checking in every hotel for Bagchi. Sinha’s men continuously following them. one the found a house wall with Jagga’s picture and childhood memories it was Baghchi’s room. Then suddenly Sinha arrives there and wanted to kill them but somehow they manage to escape from there. While they are running in the car they hit the same tree from which Bagchi get injured in the car accident. Thereee from the tribes, they come to know about the Bashir Alexandra who is the biggest mafia od this racket. But, unfortunately, trying to reach to Alexandra both Jagga and Shruti kidnapped by Alexandra( Nawazuddin Siddiqui).

Jagga Jasoos is comedy and adventures movie which will be enjoyed most by the kids. Its comedy and adventures scenes hence many of the people found very boring and dull for its slow screenplay and boring story.

Ranbir Kapoor is a gifted actor to the industry, whatever role he does he excel in his work. Even if the movie is not hit at box office his work always been appreciated by people and critics too. Here he playing the role of detective and as always he lives the Character and gives his best to the movie.
Katrina Kaif is a beauty with her innocent looking face done extremely well in the movie as her character is shown of a bubbly and joyful and her innocent looks helped her in trying this character.
