Thugs of Hindostan Movie Story

The 1st Half of Thugs of Hindostan

The story plot belongs to an era of 1795 where John Clive killed King Sikandar Baig and all people of his kingdom are killed. Zafira Baig daughter of king Sikandar and Khudabaksh are the only survivor of the tragic incident. Khudabaksh treats Zafira as his own daughter and trains her in warfare.

After several of years, Khudabaksh now known as Azaad( Amitabh Bachchan) makes a group of thugs and they are expert in sea warfare and challenge East India Company by knowing this John Clive get cautious and alert and appoint his right hand to handle the thugs.

A small thug Firangi Mallah ( Aamir Khan) who used to steal small things is appointed by the Britishers against the challenge of thugs. Firangi misguide Azaad and seek his refuge to which Azaad agrees there he finds Surraiya’s support. While staying with thugs Firangi works for East India company and leaking their all information to Britishers. One day Firangi leak the news of thugs meeting with the ruler and Britishers reached theirs.

The 2nd Half of Thugs of Hindostan

Azaad wants Zafira to be safe and his mission to be completed. While Azaad comes to know about Firangi has cheated him but somewhere he believes that Firangi has something good in him because during the tussle with Britishers Firangi saves Azaad’s life and he tells Firangi to take care of Zafira and tell them to go from there.

Now in the last confrontation with Britishers Zafira and Azaad find themselves in trouble as they are decreasing in numbers. But Firangi appeared they are and turn the situation in favor of Azaad and eventually, Zafira defeated Clive.

REVIEW

Thugs Of Hindustan directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra is a periodic film. It is one of the big budget Hindi movie which will not disappoint you as far as visual experience is concerned. But as far as the story is concerned it’s a disappointment.
