Actor Nitish Veera, who was last seen in Dhanush’s Asuran as the baddie, has joined the cast of upcoming action family entertainer Laabam. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. While Vijay is expected to play a farmer-cum-social activist, Shruti Haasan is essaying his love interest in the movie.
A source close to the film’s unit said Nitish Veera would be seen essaying the friend of Vijay Sethupathi in the film. Sources say that he will not be playing a typical friend character, but someone who is different and people will connect with. Sources also added that he has already started preparing for the role.
