Sarileru Neekevvaru motion picture story is about Army Major Ajay Krishna (Mahesh Babu), who is a brave and challenging army man who dedicates his life for a country. Unfortunately, one fine day, he has been asked to go to Kurnool on a mission for Bharathi (Vijayashanthi) and her family. Bharati is a professor and always believes in doing the right thing. After reaching Kurnool he comes to think about the issue they are encompassed with Ajay enters the Kurnool, search for Barathi. Finally, Ajay saves the Bharathi family with the villain’s hands. Even someone of the caliber of Mahesh Babu is unable to fill the voids the story of Sarileru Neekevvaru directed by Anil Ravipud has. The story has nothing much to offer to the film. In the movie, Mahesh Babu plays Ajay Krishna, an orphan soldier serving in Kashmir. There’s also Professor Bharathi (Vijayashanthi) who is portrayed as one who sticks to her principles. She is a single mother of three.

Ajay is asked to visit Kurnool to save Bharathi, which is where he finds himself in a big mess.

In the role of antagonist, we have our very own Prakash Raj who plays the Kurnool MLA Nagendra. Rashmika Mandanna who is supposedly the celebrity crush of many youngsters plays the role of a notorious girl who falls for Ajay.

It would be fairly convenient to state that most of the jokes from the film don’t land perfectly. The only positives from the film were the picture-perfect performance by Mahesh Babu, he makes the role of a no-nonsense army officer his very own.
