I remember as a kid watching these really excellent films about this guy called "Waldemar Daninsky" who was inflicted with the "mark of the werewolf". He was a kick-ass werewolf who battled all kinds of bad guys (well, they were usually girls...read on) There were a lot of naked chicks....as close as you could get on American TV. I must have seen a half a dozen or more of these movies. I loved everyone of them, but I guess as a kid I never really took note who the actor was I just enjoyed watching them. It wasn't until about year or so ago, I was in a 5 and dime and saw this movie called "Fury of the Wolfman." I saw the box and said damn, it's looks like "Waldemar". I quickly plopped down my .99¢ and ran home to watch the flick. Sure enough it was him and who was the actor...ah, Paul Naschy. It wasn't the best movie, but far from the worst. I started to do some research on him and his movies. Since then I have watched a few more: "Night of the Howling Beast "(aka The Werewolf and the Yeti), "Count Dracula's Greatest Loves", "The Werewolf vs. the Vampire Women", "Horror Rises from the Tomb", and "The Craving". All of them were pretty decent and well worth watching. Well, finally back from Fangoria's Weekend of Horror. It was totally awesome meeting one of my idols, Paul Naschy. Although, Paul only spoke a little English, his presence spoke volumes to all who were there. I think that Paul was really in awe with the receptions from his American fans. Hopefully, his first visit to America will inspiring him to bring "Waldemar Daninsky" back to the silver screen. Muchos gratis, Senor Naschy. To
