It is being reported via many outlets that SCREAM 4 is seeing up shop in MICHIGAN. They're not saying where in MICHIGAN but they are saying that production offices are already being set up.
A big change considering the other films in the franchise have pretty much been shot in and around the LA area. They did venture to Georgia for parts of SCREAM 2. I'm glad to see Hollywood heading out to us here in the Midwest.
Apparently MICHIGAN is offering up some kick ass tax incentives and the like so soon all the excitement that his SCREAM 4 will be right out my back door.
They're calling for filming to gear up in May with a release date of April 15th, 2011.
Since they are so close maybe I'll get a set visit (hint, hint)
