Sure seems like HITCHCOCK and Hitch related items are all the rage this fall. A couple of movies based on his life and this new A&E series really shine a light on his legacy.
The A&E series titled BATES MOTEL will shine a light in the early life and times of Norman Bates and his rather interesting obsession with his mother.
The official by line for the series goes like this:
"Bates Motel" serves as a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film, "Psycho," and promises to give viewers and intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates' (Freddie Highmore) psyche unravels through his teenage years and just how deeply intricate his relationship to his mother, Norma (Vera Farmiga), truly is.
