Larry Fessenden's  The Last Winter received a limited release last year, but now it looks like the film will be out of people's hands for a little while longer.  The official DVD release will be on May 20th for Blockbuster only.  People without a Blockbuster subscription (grrr...) will have to wait until July 29th.  That's right.  Two months later.

Larry Fessenden's the man behind Habit and Wendigo, two intriguing small horror films from the past decade that blend fright tactics with an effort to more deeply understand the monsters we create.  The Last Winter continues that trend, and if you doubt it, check out the website, which features roughly a hundred reviews praising the flick.
