How could I do pages on Evil Dead movies and not do a tribute to the man who was one of the main driving force behind their success. The reason I like the work of Bruce Campbell (which is not limited to the Evil Dead trilogy) is that he brings a certain presence to all his work, which I think he developed on the ED movies. I never truly understood why Bruce hasn't become a superstar. He has looks (no I'm not a fag, just in touch with my feminine side, ha ha), is a squared-jawed superhero type, and is able to be both rugged and funny. I think he is one break away from becoming HUGE!!! Other Bruce vehicles I recommend are "Maniac Cop", "Sundown" (funny vampire movie), "The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr." (airing in reruns on TNT) and of course as "Autolycus" in the weekly series of "Hercules" and "Xena".
