Red and Indian Telugu action-packed crime thriller 2021 movie attracted the attention of many Indian viewers. The movie is a remake of the Tamil movie Thadam, directed by MagizhThirumeni. Red is directed, and screenplay by Kishore Tirumala the movie was released on January 14th, 2021. In this movie, Ram Pothineni played the double character as both civil engineer and gambling thief. Sravanthi Ravi Kishore produces the 146 minutes film.
The film’s plot revolves around the dual character Aditya, a gambling thief, and Siddharth, a civil engineer. Both of them were taken to police custody for a murder committed by one of them. Ram Pothineni characterized both Siddharth, who is uptight, good to go, and has everything on his side and Aditya, a gambler, alcoholic, naturally. The plot intensifies with the murder of Charandeep, and both were suspected of the murder. Police arrest both of them and try to collect as much as they can.Yamini gets the investigation charge of the case and afterward step by step, many layers unfold as the story proceeds.Though the layers and backstories are quite predictable, you can binge-watch Red if you like a soft thriller with romance and musical scores.

The movie was rumored to be premiered on Over-The-Top media service, but then actor Ram Potheneni confirmed that it would be a theatrical release. In January 2021, it was announced that Red would be released in several dubbed regional languages. It will be released in Bengali, Bhojpuri, Marathi, and Malayalam. The Hindi version of the movie is proposed to be released on January 28th. However, all the excitement from the makers went in vain when we got the news that the movie is leaked by Tamilrockers in full HD for downloading and online streaming.

Music Direction
Mani Sharma composes Red’s music album, and the lyricist is Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry, Kalyan Chakravarthy, and Kasarla Shyam. Lahiri Music released the first song Nuvve Nuvve of the movie album. Red is Mani Sharma’s first collaboration with Kishore Tirumala and second collaboration with Pothineni.

Red is released on January 14th, 2021. It was planned to be released on April 9th, 2020, but it got postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic situation.
