I was so psyched when I heard Linda Blair was going to be at the April Chiller convention. I had already decided to attend Chiller, because I hear that it is the best convention, but once I heard that Linda was attending, I began to set my sights on an interview with her for the House of Horrors. I began to do all my research by reading
every Exorcist article and Linda interview I could get my I arrived at Chiller early Friday afternoon and was amazed by the number of dealers setting up. There were at least 5 times as many vendor here as there was at the Fango convention in January. This is definitely one of the highlights of the Chiller show and I was lucky to only drop $200 ($100 of which was on booze), so I was happy to come home with some money to pay the bills. HA HA!!!! The show open at six o'clock on Friday and I quickly made my way to Linda's table. I knew if I waited, I would be shit out of luck. So as I stood in line I began getting a little nervous. Linda Blair looks as hot as ever and I have to admit that she, along with Melissa Gilbert (remember Half-Pint from "Little House on the Prairie") were the first women that ever gave me a chubby (Oh, mama!!!). And to say she looks better than ever would be an understatement. I was lucky enough to be one of
the first people in line. As the line moved as quickly, I made my way up to Linda. I could
barely speak, but quickly regained my composure. We spoke briefly about... of course
"The Exorcist". Well hopefully someday, I will get a chance to meet the lovely
Linda Blair again and maybe be able to spend a few minutes letting her know my
appreciation for her work in The Exorcist and what it truely
means to the horror fans of the world. At least, I got to wrap my arms around that
hot little body!!!!A crowning achievement for the little old Caretaker. THANKS LINDA!!!!!!! Linda is a big advocate of animals right and portion of the the money she made at Chiller was donated to her favorite charity Last Chance For Animals.
