I have stumbled across your web site and felt I had to post my appreciation of Dario Argento. I am a passionate film fan and owe a lot of my love of the art to Argento. As I live in England, the directors latest films are hardly ever seen and so I speak most fondly of his early work, in particular Tenebrae, which stunned me when I first viewed it. His eye for visuals and the construction of set pieces remain most vividly in my mind and I find more in the films the more I watch them. Catch Deep Red if you can, although of low budget it has a thrilling story and the camera technique is beautiful. Suspiria is a laserdisc I picked up in Paris and is an amazing experience to watch and hear.
