To back this up along comes the film ACROSS THE HALL which takes place you know where, in a seedy hotel. The film stars Brittany Murphy (don't see much of her anymore) and really appears to be more of a thriller then a horror film but hey, some of you might like it. They posted up a trailer this morning so you can take a look and see if this one is anything you might want to check out. It's getting the dreaded "limited release" on Dec. 4th, you'll need to check you local theaters to see if it is playing anywhere near you. Here's the official by line on the story, the trailer is embedded after that: A quiet night takes a dangerous turn when Julian receives a frantic phone call from his best friend, Terry. Terry claims to have followed his unfaithful fiancée, June, to a seedy hotel on the other side of town. To make matters worse, he’s staked out the room across the hall from her, a bottle of whiskey in one hand and a revolver in the other.
