I promised you a lot of news from the SXSW festival and check this out.

Today we have some major coolness surrounding the upcoming Rodert Rodriguez produced flick PREDATORS.  Being described not as a remake or sequel but a "bold new chapter in the PREDATOR universe"  it's looking to me like it is going to kick some pretty major ass.

I'll have a BTS clip for you here in a second but first, check this stuff out.

And here is a full flick synopsis:

"PREDATORS, a bold new chapter in the Predator universe, shot under the creative auspices of Robert Rodriguez, stars Adrien Brody as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they've been brought together on an alien planet... as prey. With the notable exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers - mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members - human "predators" that are now being systematically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators."

Here's the BTS clilp.  It gives a real good look at the film and quite frankly makes me excited to have this one on the release slate.  It's looking like they might be on to something here:
