While searching around looking for news this morning I stumbled across an article posted over at Bloody Disgusting that lead me over to AOL TV where you can view 10 episodes of Freddy’s Nightmares on the net for free.  Its actually pretty freakin cool.  If your to young to remember Freddy’s Nightmares here is a quick rundown of what it is all about:

'Freddy’s Nightmares' might have only lasted two seasons, but for fans of the 'Nightmare on Elm Street' franchise it's a must-see. An 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents' for the slasher set, 'Nightmares' premiered in 1988. Each hour-long episode was hosted by Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) and told the tale of a different denizen on Elm Street being terrorized in some appropriately gruesome manner. Although fans felt the show succeeded in being both frightening and fun, its graphic violence may have led to its early cancellation. Of course, it could also have been the instantly dated special effects that included strange purple lighting whenever someone was about to get 'offed.'

Only five episodes made it to home video in the US, although 12 were released in Britain. In 1990 the show was nominated for Best Genre TV Series at the Saturn Awards (given by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films).

These shows are actually pretty cool and to view them all you have to do is click here and be wisked away to AOL TV.
