Return To 80's Horror With BIND

Believe it or not there are some original horror movies to look forward to in the near future. Written and directed by Dan Walton, BIND is one of them. News of BIND comes at a time when we are caught in the middle of horror remake hell.

From the BIND website:

For years the wooded mountains have been the setting for many myths, horror and ghost stories, told one generation to the next on camping trips. Only, what no one ever thought to consider was, what if there was someone in those woods worse than any myth imaginable...a grisly forest-stalker opus in the '80s tradition...

BIND will star Devon Sawa, Ken Foree, Tony Todd and dan Ellis. Brooke Lewis (IMURDERS) will play the lead as well as produce with her production company Philly Chick Pictures. Jim Pacitti (Who also stars in the movie) will be co-producing. Ryan Nicholson (Live Feed) will be on hand doing special effects.

I am looking forward to this one and I'm not alone. It just registered close to 3,000 on the IMDB scale (which is really impressive since it hasn't even come out yet!) AND it got a nod on Perez Hilton's website. How many upcoming horror movies can say that? Let's hope BIND is in a long line of original horror movies to come our way.
