Got word tonight on a special 3 disc set of Rob Zombie's film work to date. It is slated to be released right before his version of HALLOWEEN hit theaters. The complete press release is below:

On August 21^st, bolt the doors and board up the windows because Rob Zombie: 3 Disc Collector’s Set is coming for you! This horrifying DVD set includes Zombie’s first two hit films, House of 1000 Corpses and an unrated version of The Devil’s Rejects, packaged together for the first time. The 3 Disc Collector’s Set also includes a bonus disc containing “30 Days in Hell - The Making of The Devils Reject’s,” a feature length day-to-day account of the film’s shoot, from pre-production meetings to the last day of shooting. The collection features collectible 3-disc packaging for the suggested retail price of $24.98.

House of 1000 Corpses Synopsis

From the dark, demented mind of Rob Zombie comes House of 1000 Corpses, the shock rock master’s feature film directorial debut. Two young couples take a misguided tour onto the back roads of America in search of a local legend known as Dr. Satan. An empty fuel tank and a flat tire leaves them lost and stranded. When they encounter the Firefly family – a bizarre group of psychotics – murder, cannibalism and satanic rituals are just a few of the 1000+ horrors that await them.

The Devils Reject’s Synopsis

The follow-up to the horror hit House Of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects continues the story of the Firefly family, a peculiar clan who likes to torture, maim, and kill virtually everyone they meet. When the town Sheriff pays a visit to the body-ridden lair of Mother Firefly, her two children are forced to run. Seeking help from creepy clown Captain Spaulding, the evil trio goes on a road trip, leaving dozens of mangled bodies in their wake. They eventually find shelter and a new base of operations in a run-down amusement park but the Sheriff, Texas Rangers and FBI are slowly closing in on them.
