Anchor Bay sent along a run down of all the cool stuff that they have planned for you lucky bastards that get to attend the LA Weekend of Horrors next weekend.  Check out this list of coolness:

Anchor Bay Entertainment will be in full force at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors convention next weekend, from Friday, April 25th through Sunday, April 27th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Anchor Bay Entertainment, long acknowledged as THE leading horror programmer, will give attending fans a chance to meet and greet with stars of current Anchor Bay DVD titles, as well as give glimpses into exciting upcoming ABE releases that promise greater chills, thrills – and even some bloody good laughs!

At the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors, fans can look forward to the following Anchor Bay events:

FRIDAY, APRIL 25          4:30 – 5:30PM

THE COOK cast signing at Anchor Bay Booth (#304 & #405)

Come meet the cast of the new cult hit THE COOK! Released April 1st on DVD, THE COOK mixes low-brow dorm humor, with heaping helpings of nudity – and a ghastly buffet of involuntary cannibalism! Already becoming the next great cult favorite, THE COOK cast signing features Mark “The Cook” Hengst, Makinna “Amy” Ridgway, Penny “Anastasia” Drake, Allen “Lance” Yates and Brooke “Kristen” Lenzi. COOK posters and DVDs will be signed.

SATURDAY, APRIL 26   2:15 – 3:15PM

BRUTAL MASSACRE: A COMEDY panel discussion at Petree Hall

To celebrate the upcoming release of Stevan (Malevolence) Mena’s new comedy(!) about the world’s unluckiest horror film shoot, Anchor Bay has assembled THE ENTIRE HEADLINE CAST to appear on-stage for this event! Lineup includes Gunnar (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) Hansen, David (An American Werewolf in London)(Clerks) O’Halloran, Gerry (The 40-Year-Old Virgin) Bednob, Ken (Dawn Of The Dead) Foree, all three Ladies of The Evil Dead – Betsy Baker, Ellen Sandweiss, Theresa Tilly – even Master of Horror Mick Garris (who has a cameo!) – all of whom will be joining writer/director Stevan Mena for an in-depth and no-holds-barred conversation moderated by Fangoria editor Tony Timpone (who also has a small but pivotal part in the film). Naughton, Brian

SUNDAY, APRIL 27        12:30 – 1:15PM

JACK BROOKS MONSTER SLAYER panel discussion at Petree Hall

The brainchild of filmmakers Trevor Matthews, Jon Knautz and Patrick White, JACK BROOKS MONSTER SLAYER tells the story of Jack Brooks (Matthews), a lonely plumber who has repressed memories of his family’s murder. When he unknowingly awakens an ancient evil, Jack must summon all his courage to confront not only his dark past but battle a host of creatures bent on destroying the world! A hit at this year’s Slamdance festival, JACK BROOKS MONSTER SLAYER co-stars horror legend Robert Englund and will be released by Anchor Bay Entertainment later this year. Join star/writer/producer Trevor Matthews, director Jon Knautz and composer Ryan Shore (son of Oscar-winning composer Howard Shore) for a preview of this very special horror adventure epic, moderated by Fangoria editor Tony Timpone.

We hope everyone will join Anchor Bay in celebrating these films and don’t forget to stop by our booth at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors!
