For thirteen sour years, young pimple-faced Marvin suffered in meekness and oppression, the relentless target of aggression, violence, pranks, and weak egos. He'd boiled for years, a hatred for mankind so bitter and scorching hot that, in time, only the flames of Hell could light his way. The brutal acts of life that shaped Marvin into what he was gave him the reason to his rhyme, thus condoning, in his black heart, the act he was to commit. Sharleton was a small town, with an especially beloved priest. So saintly, in fact, that he had recently been written about in the city paper. The contrast of Marvin's legendary rage and hate to Father Hedner's purity of soul and intention were at maximum ends of the scale. This made him the perfect victim. Father Hedner would be the premeire sacrifice this night, in the back of the graveyard - where Marvin finished filling in the last bits of dirt. He trembled with anticipation, drooling for the kill, as he looked down upon the priest buried in the ground, with only his head above soil. Placed next to his feet was a bucket full of insects, mostly worms, writhing in a mass of flesh eating fury - hungry for their feast. Marvin took the pail in his hands - gazing in disgust at the helpless priest. No words were spoken as he turned it upside down onto the man's head, covering him with a solid squoosh, firmly pressing it down until the rim touched the ground. There only came a few muffled screams - each of which were quickly stuffed with whatever insects were closest each instant - maggots, red agave worms, palm worms, mopane worms, silkworm pupae - swallowed and inhaled with each gasp. Marvin sat upon the pail, listening to the slithering and crunching below his seat. His black, tired eyes fixated upon the church - where a lone window glowed by the light of a candle...
