War is hell. From writer/director Kong Su-chang (Tell Me Something) comes the Korean creepfest R-Point, marching onto video Feb 14th in stores across the nation from Tartan Video Asia Extreme.
During the Vietnam War, a South Korean army base begins receiving radio transmissions from a patrol that went MIA in the desolate stretch of land known as R-Point six months earlier. A shell-shocked commanding officer (Gam Woo-sung) and a ragtag military unit are sent into the murky, enemy-infested swamp to gather clues to the whereabouts of the missing soldiers. Upon their arrival, they find an abandoned building surrounded by the graves of those who entered R-Point before them … and a warning that reads, “No Return.”
R-Point is the #4 grossing horror film in Korean box office history, as noted by Screen International. The film stars Gam Woo-sung, star of recent Tartan Asia Extreme DVD release Spider Forest.
